With increasing life expectancy, the global population is ageing. To meet the demands of an ageing population, technological innovations are paired with community initiatives to enable the elderly to live healthier and more fulfilling lives. In this session we have invited acclaimed speakers from academia and industry to explore the emerging elderly-centred health technologies, the management of muscle loss, and a local community initiative for testing-bedding and adoption of gerontechnologies.
