Dr Wang Yanmei

Research Interests: Chemical, Bio-chemical and Combinatorial Sensors

Dr Wang Yanmei is a senior scientist at Temasek Polytechnic. She received her BEng degree from Hebei University of Science and Technology in 1997 and her MSc in Marine Chemistry from the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. In 2005, she received a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from National University of Singapore. Dr Wang has expertise in medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry and applied chemistry. She is working on a chemical-based sensor for detecting ammonium in interstitial fluids.
