Dr Frank Guan Yunqing currently is an Assistant Professor at Infocomm Technology Cluster of Singapore Institute of Technology. His research interests include Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Dr Guan had been leading and conducting research in a few large collaboration research programmes and has published nearly 50 papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Visual Computing and graphics (TVCG), IEEE ISMAR, etc.

Dr Guan sits on the editorial board of The Visual Computer Journal (TVCJ) and Frontiers Journal of Virtual Reality and Human Behaviours. He has organized and co-organized a number of international conferences, including IEEE VR, ACM VRST, ACM VRCAI, IEEE ISMAR, GMP, etc. and he will be the Conference Chair for the premier VR/AR conference IEEE ISMAR 2022. Dr Guan received the Andrew Fraser Prize from IMechE in 2006 and was selected into the “SMART Innovation Fellow” programme by Singapore MIT Alliance for Research and Technology in 2015.
