Dr Gao Yuan received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore in 2008. Since 2007, he has been with the Institute of Microelectronics (IME), A*STAR. He is currently a senior scientist and principal investigator in IC Design Department, where he is leading the next generation intelligent sensor interface circuit development. His primary research areas include energy efficient analog and mixed-signal IC design techniques for sensor interfaces in the emerging areas such as flexible wearable devices, brain machine interface, MEMS sensors and energy harvesting. He has authored or co-authored 3 book chapters, more than 90 peer-reviewed international journal and conference papers and has 12 US patents granted or filed.
